Trendy ’nightlife’ beer, at least that seems to be the intention, very pretentious in trying to be better than its congeners, i.e. all those bland, often disgustingly aromatized lagers that are aimed at the same audience. I had to ask the people responsible for this for a transparent cup as this beer is not poured but intended to be drunk directly from the bottle. It showed a snow white head and pale golden blonde colour like any standard lager; weak aroma of sweet pale malts further sweetened by the apple cider with which it is blended and a vague hint of herbal hops. Thin and watery body, sweet, artificially apple-like, lightly malty, rather soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. The quality of this ’beer’ is in total disproportion with the busy marketing it is surrounded by. Just another addition to the family of bland, trendy, watery, aromatized, awful lagers which anyone who has any knowledge about beer should avoid at all time.

Curious because of Tim, couldn’t resist when I saw the bottle in a store. Clear golden colour, diminishing white head. Aroma of malts, light apple, fusels. Sweet flavour, light apple. Finish sweet apple, lingering sweet. Too sweet for my palate.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Martinus. Clear pale golden color, medium sized white head that diminishes almost instantly. Not a lot of aroma. Taste is flat, slightly a touch of sour apple and bleh. Watery and bad.

Clear pale golden colour. Aroma and taste of quite a plain, slightly stale lager with some apple taste in the finish.

18/11/12 - 33cl bottle @ Horecaexpo (Gent) - BB: 25/IV/14 (2012-1216)

Note: as we were forced to drink the beer out of the bottle, "as it is part of our concept", appearance gets the lowest score possible.
Note: "premium lager" and "has a high fermentation"? Are you kidding me? The marketing boys are back in town!

Clear beer, probably blond, but who can tell from a brown bottle. Maybe it was pink! No head, as it was not poured. Aroma: pretty effin' hard from a bottle neck. I'll go with herbal, a bit sweet, little fruity. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, bit fruity, watery and blunt. Aftertaste: is there any? Maybe a bit fruity, and some citrus. Man, this is an abomination to Belgian beer. Shame on you.
