Lichtgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoetzuur en fruitig met iets van druiven en citrus. Gewoon een goed bier meer niet echt bijzonder.

Another hobby brew commercialized through Boelens, bottle from Wijnegemse Drankenhal. Snow white, moussy, lightly lacing head, thick on the edge but quickly disintegrating in the middle, on top of an initially clear, deep and warm orange-hued ’old gold’ coloured beer. Aroma of canned peaches, honey, white sugar, cake dough, pear drop, camomile, sugarloaf, apple peel, pineapple, bubblegum, cream and a faint but unmistakable whiff of stinky DMS (overcooked cauliflower). Fruity onset, estery with the eternal banana prevailing next to impressions of apricot, pear and pineapple, sweet with residual white ’sugariness’ laying a honeyish aspect on top of the malts, vague sourish touch, medium carbonation, slick body. Malt and, as said, honeyish sweet middle, bit bready, cereally, rounded and smooth, with this overall sweetishness also remaining dominant in the finish, where it gets the accompaniment of floral, camomile- and sweetclover-like hops, a tad grassy, mildly bittering, dryish; some vague malt oxidation as well, even if this bottle is well before it "best before" date. Yet another sweet and simple Belgian ’terrasjesblond’, adding absolutely nothing to our beer landscape and totally oblivious to international tendencies. In spite of its name, a beer like this has no potential whatsoever to ever become ’legendary’, I’m afraid, but technically alright, apart from that faint (and fortunately quickly fading) DMS note.
