Nice sweet berries and sour cherries. I'm not the biggest kriek fan but the sweet and sour balance is well done. Big earthy sweet sour finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with medium pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is strong boysenberry, oak, funk, cherry skin, spice. Medium body, jammy boysenberry, sweet cherry, light tartness, enjoyed this.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very fruit forward with fairly strong cherry and berry notes. Quite a bit of oak as well. Light earthy, herbal, phenolics with some tannins and light lemon notes . Pours a bright, deep, purple-red with a medium large, moderately thick, frothy, purple-pink head that recedes quickly to the edges before disappearing. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic with a medium light sweetness. Low bitterness with a surprisingly dry finish. Lots of cherry and berry notes with the berry ones lingering into the finish. Light lemon and herbal, earthy phenolic notes. Light oak and medium light tannins. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very fruit forward beer, but the acidity is not over -the-top. Nice, balanced phenolic and earthy notes. Tannins are perhaps a bit strong.

Cherry and grapefruit, tangerine. Ruby red pour with good head and lacing. Tangy end, probably a little too acidic for my taste but still decent. Tap at City Beer SF.

Bottle. Pours clear deep magenta with a large foamy magenta pink head that eventually dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is full of cherry, musty basement, funk, horse blanket, raspberry, stems, skins, sweat socks, alll the good things in life. Flavor is light plus tart, medium funky, strong cherry and berry characteristics. Medium body. Good.
