Pours clear amber with a big, foamy, off-white head that lasts and leaves lacing. The aroma contains malt, hay, hops, bread and dried fruits. It tastes light sweet and light bitter, but all very subdued. Slick and watery texture, average carbonation, short dry finish. Looks good, but in taste there’s very little going on.

F: huge, tanned, good retention. C: amber to coppery, almost clear. A: banana, peach, caramel, metallic, spicy. T: malt, caramel, fruity, metallic, peppery, light to medium body, medium carbonation, very uninteresting beer not really bad but easy forgettable, 0,33l bottle from Carrefour market - Saint-Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Bottled 330ml. -from Hollywood Cafe Karlovac. Unclear orange/amber coloured, small airy off-white head that went away fast, lively carbonation, light peach (juice) in the nose. Peach, coriander, touch of caramel and quite strong carbonation with notes of yeast and sugar. One-dimensional and too sweet.

Clear pale to medium amber colour, large foamy white head, settles quickly, good lacing. Aroma is perfume, peach, caramel, yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter, light malty and fruity (peach, orange). Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, not much of aftertaste, light hop bitterness in the finish, rather thin, average.

Clear pale amber to orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, banana, caramel, candi sugar, malty, wheat touch? MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish start, wheat, very fruity, banana, citrus. Aftertaste: hay, grains, rural touch, malty, caramel, bit sugary.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber colour lasting thick beige head. Some esters on the aroma. Some malt in the mouth. Some pepper lightly on the finish. OK, lightish amber with a bit more ester.

Pours clear amber , OK white head , but it collapses very fast . Smell is somewhat sweet . Grainy, but not that typical amber-malty . Taste is bitter, slightly sweet , bit malty in the back . Thin mouthfeel , unintense taste ( very unintense ) accept for the bitterness, that is - which is helped by the overcarbonisation . Very uninspired and blank .

Typical ’spéciale belge’ commissioned by Vanuxeem, with moussy, thick, yellowish white head and coppery amber colour, clear. Aroma of unripe peach, walnuts, almonds, caramel, leather, some DMS. Neutral onset with sharpish carbo, dried fruits, orange peel, lightly nutty and caramelly maltiness, all quite restrained, mild and brief grassy hop bitterishness in the finish. Thin and rather bland.
