A rich, well balanced Foreign style Stout with a generous amount of roasted barley. Complex hop sequencing creates superbly balanced flavor.

Big thanks to BΓΌckDich for this tasty stout. ark with smallish head. Very coffee aroma, molasses, malts, slight cocoa, and roasted. Flavor is malty, anise, molasses, some milk, and chocolate. Smooth body. Very nice example of a stout.

On tap at Flying Pie Boise, Pours out a light black topped with a light tan head. Nice aroma of roast and coffee. Tast of a little bitter and dark roast.

Loads of roasted malt. Some oatmeal and popcorn, thick and heavy, but no complexity. Black. Simple but good. Nice palate.

Sample shared with Odeed! Thanks, Jake! Nose very heavy with coffee and a chocolate note; opaque ebony body with a HUGE! tan head that did go away even when I finished, probably a little past the prime for this bottle (Nov date, no yaer) Smoky coffee flavor. 8/3/7/3/15 3.6 7/19/06 12 oz bottle from Supermarket Liquors Cheyenne; BB date Aug no year; Nose again with a lot of coffee and more chocolate, some roasty, toasty notes, and a hint of vanilla caramel; dark black with a medium cinnamon tan head which laces the glass nicely; flavor of coffee, chcolate, and light smokiness; body medium thick with a bit of bitterness and chcolate as the finish; Better bottle! 10/4/08

Dark brown almost black pour with a thicked tanned head. Aroma is strongly of coffee, taste is also primarily coffee and chocolate. Also some maltiness and roasty flavors. A solid stout overall.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium deep brown head with excellent retention. Aroma of roasted malt with light sweet chocolate are easily detectable. Taste has a real creamy feel with a good dose of roasted malt and bitter hops. Lack a little something to make this truly great but still very enjoyable.

An opaque brown beer with a collapsing brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted combined with light notes of malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet roasted combined with notes of chocolate, and with a dry slightly woody finish. Nice.

Bottle Pours a jet black with a small but dense tan head. This settles out quickly leaving sparse chunky lacing. Aroma is a terrific blen of classic Stout flavors. Coffee, molassas, bitter chocolate. Very nice. The coffee flavor is the most up front. Not much hops. Lots of dark roasted flavors. Campfire, charcoal smoke. Feel is very smooth but not too thick. As it warms up a bit, it mellows out more. Burnt smokey aftertaste that is remarkably un-bitter. A great showing from what I though would be just a po-dunk brewer. Gonna have to make sure I give their other offerings a far chance.

This Stout is what I can American or West Coast Stout. The Stout part is excellent, but be prepared for a hop finish uncharacteristic of the British or Irish Stouts.
