Fonefan 300814. Golden colour with ano head. Aroma is honey, flower. Flavour is honey, cellar notes, flower, alcohol. OK mead.

Bottle shared at Borefts beer fest day 2 27/09/2014. Bodegraven. Many thanks to Jan for this one. Crystal clear golden coloured pour, no head, semi-viscous, Aroma is earthy honey, hot alcohol, varnish, caramel. Flavour sweet honey, sticky sugars, tough lemon, hot alcohol. Palate is sweet, viscous and low carbonation.

Bottle 750ml. clear glass. @ The Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2014, TSODRBSG14. [ As Chouchenn Hydromel Breton - L’Abeille de Vitré ].ABV: 13.0%. Unclear light to medium yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, bubble gum - minerals, nectar notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, minerals, nectar, alcohol notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140830]

Bottle shared at BBF 6, thanks to Jan, 27/09/14. Clear light golden with no head. Nose is sweet, honey, citric peel, tangerine, spice, almonds, booze fumes. Taste comprises honey, floral notes, light spice, candied citric rinds. Full bodied, fine carbonation, medicianal notes and sweet in the close. Too sweet.

[9/27/14] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Thanks fonefan. 13%. Clear golden. Aroma of floral honey. Sweet flavor with honey, a bit of flowers, fruitiness and a bit of alcohol.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Fonefan @ Borefts 2014 day 2. Clear golden color, no head. Nice vinous aroma with sugary apples and honey. Tastes about the same. Quite nice again. Like it.

sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2014: Dunkelgolden, kein Schaum. Geruch kräftig süß, Honig, holzig, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr süß nach Honig, alkoholisch, wärmend.

Clear pale yellow mead, no head, little sticky. Aroma: very smoky, spicy, alcohol, strong, bit medicinal, woody. MF: full body, alcohol burn. Taste: sweet start, not very sugary though, bit spicy, dry, weird. Aftertaste: very spicy, alcohol, liquor.
