Bottle. A- Roasty, cocoa, mild licorice. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, cream, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Better than the Kalamazoo stout but still not super impressed. Solid stout, but wanted more espresso flavor or cocoa or something. It was pretty generic.

Bottle from dkachur, thanks Dan! Deep dark brown color. Malt, cacao, cream and chichory in the aroma. Sweet and creamy milk chocolate and grapes in the flavor. Hint of licorice. Fairly thin, but also tasty and aromatic. Liked it very much.

Draft taster pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is dark brown/black with no discernible sparkle and a massive head poured out to finger-width, tons of lacing. Aroma is nice rich roasted malt, subtle dark fruit and dark chocolate, lactose. Taste is milky, creamy roasted malt, dark fruit, slight hints of chocolate. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not quite world class but solid all around. Hard to complain.

Tap at Blue Palms BrewHouse, Hollywood, 21st November 17. Pours black. Aroma is sweet, chocolate. Taste is sweet, rich, yes creamy, it's not my style and this is the last of a big night, but quite good.

Bottle at home. Pours Dark brown with a tan head that leaves a lot of lacing. Slightly roasted aroma with coffee, cream, a bit of chocolate and some vanilla. Taste is similar. A little bit on the thinner side. Roasted finish.
