Hoppy Belgian Pale Ale with Wild Yeast
"I was introduced to Patrick & Alaina by mutual friends back in Baltimore where we gathered around to listen to some early recordings of their album while drinking some of my beer. When the song 'Night Vision' came on, i was instantly drawn in.
It seemed like a departure from their previous work, it was dark, minimal and driving, but then Alaina's lovely voice shined through and made it what is definitively, Tennis. This i knew had to be the inspiration for v.3 of the Sensory Series. A solid light orange body weighing in at 6.9% ABV with rays of citrusy hops and the expression of wild yeasts."

Strong pineapple and peach nose. Hazy amber, medium head. Apricot then lemon zest then lemongrass. Medium body , a little fizzy. Nice tropical notes in this BPA, more from the yeast than the hops.

10oz pour at PPG comes a clear gold with some ringing, white head. Nose is solid, plenty of stone fruit, some unripened peach, a little apricot, some candy, lemon, some mild orange, a little yeast, lightly herbal and not in that typical Stillwater sense, some grass. Flavor follows right along, lightly sweet, candy and honey, grassy, herbal, lemon, straw. Crisp, refreshing finish. Restrained, in a good way.

Sample at Land Grant. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. The aroma is citrus, yeast and hops. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is mildy hoppy up front with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
