From tap at the brewery. Dark brown color with beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, some hop notes, chocolate, bread, cocoa, licorice, cinnamon, grass. Sweet and moderate bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Minimal beige head on a dirty dark brown body. Coffee aroma. Thin bodied -very thin for a Stout - clean & dry on the palate. Bitter blueberry, coffee, grape & herbal tastes

Very cloudy. Not the cleanest, easiest drinking beer. Mild chocolate and not a lot of roast. The bitterness dominates a little much. Stone berlin

Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2018-10 getrunken. Diesem Schokoladen-Blaubeer-Stout fehlt eins ganz deutlich - die Blaubeeren. Vielleicht ist da was fruchtiges aber hinter den kräftigen Röstaromen hauptsächlich von Schokolade kann sich kaum was Anderes behaupten. Hier fehlt mir deutlich die Balance wie es beispielsweise Founders mit den fetten Blaubeernoten bei ihrem Lizard of Koz hinbekommen haben. Ansonsten hat das Choco Blues einen moderaten Körper, der das Stout kompakt aber auch fast noch süffig macht. Nicht schlecht sag ich hier mal, aber es ist noch deutlich Luft nach oben. Prost!

8 3 8 3 16Draft at Stone World Bistro and Gardens, Berlin. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa powder, blueberry, light marzipan, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
