Bottle at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangy citric peel, bitter orange, funky strokes, apricot, mandarin, straw. Taste comprises dungy brett strains, apricot, floral notes, damp hay, light spice, orange peel, citric rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison but a touch too dungy for me.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds dried lemon and other zesty citrus fruits. Light sweet flavor, a little sandy, with notes of peach, lemon and tangerine. Light in body with fine carbonation. Finishes a touch grainy, with mild tangy lemon and dry, pale wood. OK.

750ml bottle from Frank’s Distributors in Glen Cove, NY. Pours a hazy gold with loads of frothy, sticky, white head. Nose is interesting, some weizen notes, wheaty, banana, lots of interesting brett notes, lemon rind, grapefruit pulp, at first there were some bright gueze-y notes, medicine cabinet, mild funk, nice straw/grassy notes too. Flavor has some banana sweetness, some candy, lots of orange, white grapefruit, preserved lemon, some band aid, some white grape, a little sweet Riesling. Medium bodied, sweet, tart, funky finish. If not for the price, I’d buy a case.
