23/IV/17 - on tap @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2017-494) Thanks to Ruben77 and kraddel for sharing today's beers!
Pretty cloudy yellow beer, no head. Aroma: grains, malty, bit of caramel sweetness, little funky, fruity notes. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: quite some diacetyl, bit sweet, malty, bit earthy, little lemony. Aftertaste: slightly bitter touch, lemony, funky, bit sweet still. I prefer it much older, thank you. ;-) Wonder if we will get to taste this "new foudre" version also when it's 2 years in the barrel!

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled @ ZBF 2017. Small wooden barrel, gravity poor. Very murky golden, only a few bubbles, far darker & hazier than you would expect. Taste is thick butter, little funk, oily wheat, oily lambiek. Taste is strong on the butter, still some sweetness, wheat, oily, grean,... Body is too wheat, oily & butter, rather thick. It isn’t bad but feels like lambiek served far too young before it had time to clean up, thin out & develop some proper funk.

Tap at WvdSG. Hazy golden with a small ring of bubbles. Lots of funk, horse, soft lactic notes, bitter wood and green leaves, soft peach. Light sour and under medium bitter. Under medium bodied with barely any carbonation.
