On nitro at the brewpub, pours a dark brown/black with some creamy, slightly off white head. Nose has toast, malt, molasses, lightly nutty, a little chalky dried chocolate. Flavor is sweet with malt and molasses, toast, mild coffee roast, grist, a little dark chocolate. Medium bodied, creamy, dry finish.
