Another glorious day in the brewery! A day in the brewing department is like a day on the farm. Every beer’s a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! And every canning day a parade! I love this brewery! Cheers!

Super hoppy, huge initial aroma. Pours clear golden with pretty good head. Light bitter end. Some fresh pineapple. Citrus, lemon.

Gold, small white head. Piney cat pissy nose and palate with some soft malt in back. Very nice

Clearish gold with a small white head. Oily orange and lemon peel. Biter and sticky orange. Ok.

Clear light gold body and barely any foam. Okay tangerine and pine on the nose, though quite watery. Taste is dank candied pine, finishing smooth but thin. This is the kind of IPA your dad warned you about.

Amber colour with just a slight haze. Thin head. Aroma is citra all right. Lots of malt, too, at least by 2021 standards. Bitterness is still a shade low. Finishes with a bit of pine and acid, orange peel, those sorts of more assertive (non-grassy) hop notes. I can dig it.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, clean. Nice aroma of citrus peel, grapefruit. Crisp mouthfeel, dry, solid, with strong hop character, both citrusy and piney, bold bitterness.
Clean, modern West Coast IPA, excellent.

473 ml can. Pours a pale amber with moderate head. Aromas of candied citrus, mashed tropical fruit, spicy pine, and sweet biscuity malts. Flavors of dank piney hops, guava and passionfruit, bready malts and a little pepper. A little fat, but definitely nice. And definitely better thin the hazys

16oz on Alex's deck. Appearance: clear golden with a white head. Aroma: citrusy, a bit of onion and garlic notes. Taste: crispy, fruity, nice malt base. Overall: good old-school (for me, lol, for other it's an ancient one, hahaha) West Coast IPA.

On tap at Darby's, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops and crisp crackery malt in classic west coast fashion. Flavour is piney and oily, with a nicely bitter piney hop character, oily resins, and a crisp biscuity malt. Oily, somewhat bitter finish that has enough residual sweetness to balance. Nice to see Backcountry going west coast for a chance. Much better than their average hazy.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with white head. Crisp biscuit malt with slightly chewy citrus hops. Simple and tasty.
