For our February High Octane release, we’ve paired a flavourful trinity of American hops with the classic German lager style. The single malt baseline of Europils is accentuated by the trio of hops that combine notes of lemon and earthiness with some tones of pepper and citrus. It’s a bright and lively beer with a medium mouthfeel that offers up a few surprises – not your typical lager.

Hops: Cashmere, Columbus, Loral

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a nice, fluffy white head. Nose - honey and bread. Taste - more honey and caramel. Again bready. Palate - light bodied, sweet finish. Overall - a touch sweet for the style.

Can, 0.33l. Cloudy golden pour, huge frothy white head, medium retention, lots of lacing on the glass. Grainy and grassy nose, mild ripe fruits in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Nice mouthful and texture, refreshingly fizzy, soft and chewy. Balanced bittersweet taste. Malty aroma, caramel, bready notes, wheat and grains. Herbal, hints of spice, mild peppery. Subtle citrus notes in the background. Short to medium lasting finish, dry, subtle lingering bitterness. Refreshing.

Recht hochprozentig für ein Lager, schmeckt auch etwas boozy ohne den Hopfenausgleich

Can at Goblet. Full golden-yellow body, clear, white head. Huge flowery, vaguely fruity aroma, light maltiness in the background. Sweetish taste, flowery and somewhat citric hops on a clean malty background. A bit too much on the perfumey side, but not a bad approximation on a helles with slightly higher ABV and similar but slightly atypical hops.
