From tap at Bierencafé De Heks. Deventer. Aroma is grainy malts with straw, some grassy bittering hops. Lightly some buttery suggestions. Medium body. Nicely bitter, a bit sweeter than I like my Helles, but quite alright.

Can, danke Günther! Cloudy golden, white cream. Fairly citric notes, light flowery, a hint fresh apricot. Medium light chewy body, soft sparkly mouthfeel. Cracker malt, fruity notes, punchy citric and gooseberry hop notes. Fun.

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, golden with a solid and lacing, white head. Malty nose with some flowery hops. Rich, sweet, malty body and again good flowery hops. Rather bitter finish. Almost a mini Heller Bock. 161022

Can: Golden, not completely clear, mid-sized and slowly collapsing white head, moderate to distinctive sweet-bitter aroma of exotic fruits with a honeyish-malty background; robust sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering bitter-sweet fruity-hoppy finish with a satisfying sweet pale malty counterpart in the aftertaste. More a Heller Bock than a Helles...

Can at Brewdog, Brussels Monday 3rd October 2022. Pours gold with a white head, a light haze, some sweeteness, in fact a little bit too sweet, overipe fruit, middling carbonation, ok but lacks character.

Can, Big Star Pub. A bit hazy yellow golden, large white foamy head, pretty lasting. Pretty spicy nose, a bit grassy with some herbs - nice and fresh. Medium bitter, grassy and herbal - typical. Lasting herbal aftertaste. Light body. Pretty fine.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Floral aroma. Apple peel. A hint of butter. Taste is grainy bitter the whole way through with a hint of warmth at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok for the style.
