440ml can. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, dense, firm, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, tan head. Relatively weak, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark caramel, a touch of coffee and cocoa, whiffs of dark honey. Taste is slightly bitter roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty with subtle residual sweetness, minimally bitter hoppy and minimally alcoholic, notes of toffee, hints of dark caramel, some cocoa, a touch of coffee and dark honey.
Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation.
Well crafted, balanced, but somehow a tad too cautious, simple and monotonous, superficial, specious; lacks some subtlety - pretty decent, but a little disappointment can't be concealed.

Panda thanks to Colin. Near opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin dark malts, a decent, if thin, dark chocolate vibe gives way to decent espresso coffee that gets slightly bitter. Some grungy coffee laden dark fruits on the back end. Tidy brew, not sure I would want a pint but, a half would be just fine.

Can at home, can't recall the source, 29/09/24. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is roast malts, dark chocolate shavings, hint of liquorice, coffee bean, dried fruit rinds, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises dark malts, light booze, chocolate, burnt toffee, spice, fruit cake mix, ashen tones, charr. Medium bodied with bite, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol.

Mycket gott

Can from The Beerhive. Black body with a thin beige head that gradually fades. No lacing. Aroma of cocoa, treacle and blackberry. Flavour of blueberry and Dr Pepper. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. A tangy, chocolatey beer.
