Can. Black with a cm or so of brown head that fades. Brooding roasty aroma with mocha, singed caramel. A fair bit of body, luscious texture. Quite sweet, never dries out. Modest, slightly peppery bitterness. Some overt booze. Mainly offers big mocha and roast - it's enough.

(Draught at Billie's Bier Kafétaria, Antwerpen, 20 Oct 2022) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with black coffee, dark chocolate, black bread and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, blueberries, liquorice, black bread and a gentle roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich, tasty and in really good balance. Very nice.

aroma of natural licorice, roasted malts, salt licorice. licorice root. flavor is hard roasted malts, coffee , bitter caramel, bitter coffee, faint bitter nuts. A very strong and concentrated porter that has a lot of hard roasted malty and dark, nearly burnt caramelly bitterness. perhaps also smoked malts. The bitterness is a bit strange, sort of a bit herbal, burnt wood, burnt plastic, dark or burnt caramel. One of the most intense porters I have had. Not sweet at all. just... very intense.
