Canned (from Alko, shared with Mats). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, chocolate, coffee, roasted tones with mild toffee too. Flavour is roasted, some chocolaty, coffeeish and mild toffeeish tones. Mild alcohol sweetness.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I believe. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. Medium sweet with lovely layered dark malts, chocolate, dark fruits, roast, raisins, earth, ash. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Softly warming finish, more chocolate, berries, well toasted malts. Always nice to have a strong dark beer that’s all about the malts. And it’s really good.

lattina 44 cl, schiuma color cappuccino media grana evanescente, colore marrone intenso / nero, al naso caffè cacao liquirizia frutta rossa, in bocca malto tostato cioccolato fondente caffè liquirizia mirtilli e una punta di tabacco, corpo medio, alcool perfettamente bilanciato, carbonazione piatta, dolce con amaro moderato. Complessa ma facile da bere, equilibrio perfetto. Ottima esecuzione. c. Birraland.it 03.12.22

Rocky tan head on a dark brown body. Malt, berry & raisin aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth, soft& creamy with a clean back. Blueberry, malt, pine & orange tastes with a hoppy finish. Excellent.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: wow, very intense, oxidized, some soy sauce, spicy, caramel, some vanilla notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: oxidized, very roasted, a bit sweet, dried fruits, malty, alcohol, a bit sourish, a little bitter. Aftertaste: hoppy, dry, spicy, roasted, alcohol, spicy touch, bitter, alcohol, sourish, fruity, nice!

Can at home picked up from HOTM. An oily dark brown black coloured pour with a decent dark tan head that fades to a swirl. Aroma is big bitter roast, blackened sugars, liquorice, dark dried fruits, burnt cake, rich. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, meaty roast, charred barrel, liquorice, marzipan, rich burnt fruit cake, some vanilla sweetness, Palate is medium sweet, oily, rounded, super rich, mellow carbonation. velvety. Really nice and rich.
