Bottle. pores opaque black with a small tan head and a bit of lacing. Aroma is spicy pepper, cinnamon, chili cacao. Flavor follows rich spicy medium, sweet light plus bitter, light pepper heat. Full body.

Bottle, 500 ml, shared with Max, MiroB and kajser27. Black with beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, sweet, spicy peppers. Low carbonation. Not that thick. Medium bodied.

Pours a rich thick near black from a bottle. Definite chocolate and pepper aroma, cinnamon is present and gets bigger as the beer warms. Flavor is the same general mix, but the chiles are either more or less present with each sip: the first sip I missed them, the next I had to double check the label because they were definitely there and I hadn't read the adjuncts too closely. Well-balanced, the flavors don't tend to overpower each other. Pretty good beer.

ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, barrel, sweet malt, dark malt, spicy, cinnamon, bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - cake - spicy - cinnamon, barrel - bourbon. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211023]
