Can from Beer52. New brewery for me. Pours dark brown with some ruby red light, moderate beige head with lasts well. Aroma of roast and coffee, some light funky yeast. Taste is dry, roast, coffee, some creaminess to offset, moderate bitterness. Has a good moreish quality.

Can from lowcostbeer. It pours darkest brown to black with a fairly sturdy khaki head. The taste is dark roasted maltage, umami, burnt toast, decadent dark chocolate ganache, some dark fruits, plum, fig, fruit & nut dairy milk chocolate, rocky road and cinder toffee. The taste is initially dry rich roasted malt, dark roast coffee, umami, salted liquorice, liquorice allsorts, praline, earthy, touch of dark fruits and toasted spice with a dry roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice stuff overall. Fairly robust and unashamedly savoury.

330ml can - Pours a brown colour with a small frothy beige head. The aroma is roasted malts and coffee with some yeasty notes. A moderately sweet roasted taste, roasted malts, coffee and nutty flavours with a drying burnt grain bitterness in the finish.

Rocky light brown head stayed on dark brown still body. Malt, coffee & woody aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a clean back. Roasted, nutty, malt, coffee & burnt tastes with a lightly hopped bitter finish. I like it.
