Cask at the Fat Cat & Canary, a walk east on main road passing the rail station in Norwich. Very dark, not quite black with a bubbly head. Milky roasted malts do adorn aroma and taste, although there's a robustness in its aftertaste.

Cask at the strugglers inn. Lincoln. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and sweet. Smooth sweet body.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep dark mahogany brown with a huge creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, biscuit. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, licorice.

5/7/2021. Cask at the Fat Cat, Norwich. Pours very dark maroon brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet milk chocolate, nut, dried fruits, touch of coffee, vanilla, liquorice and treacle. Medium plus medium and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, clammy texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at the fat cat Norwich. A nutty brown malts, a loose lasting beige head. Aroma is roasty chocolate, dried fruits, raisin. Flavour is composed of nutty hazelnut, fruit cake, tannin, chocolate, earthy roast finish. Palate is semi sweet, dry tannin,. Decent cask condition.
