Fionn is a modern, New-World-style DIPA, extremely pale with a focus on late and dry hop addidions to create an intensely fruity IPA. The absence of oats or lactose allows some bitterness to shine through allowing for a more balanced, moreish finish. Intense citrus and tropical fruits dominate the flavour and aroma. A lush backbone of Irish pale malt supports the heavy hop bill creating a well-balanced finish that leans towards bitter.

440ml can from Beer52: BB 12th Oct 2021. Drank at home in the early hours of 18th Apr 2021. Pours a dirty, dull, cloudy amber, white head. Aroma is dank hops with an orange like fruity ester or two. Taste is fruity and again orange like with a dank hop feel. Nice overall hoppiness, without blowing your socks off or being a citrus laden brew like so many DIPA's seem to be. Liked it.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 03/04/21. Lightly hazed orange to copper with a good sized white cap. Nose is bitter orange, light pine, ripe melon, grapefruit, grass. Taste comprises sweet malts, bitter orange, grass, ripe tropical fruits, hop spice, pine, light spruce. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced lightly aggressive hop bitterness and a corresponding boost level. Ok DIPA ... ticks the style boxes if a little basic in its set up.
