Don’t snigger at this blonde with attitude. Light-hearted with a fun name and a bubbly nature, Slasher also has a wheaty kick that lingers long after a gulp. Slasher is a real thirst-quencher when cold from the fridge. Or go traditional by not bothering to have it chilled. We like it whatever the temperature – it’s the favourite of the Piddle Brew Crew!

Previously know as 'Dorset Piddle Silent Slasher'.

500ml bottle, gift from a friend: BB January 2025. Drank at home on 15th November 2024. Clean golden body, white crown that stayed around. Nice, easy going blonde; Barley, Wheat and Rye apparently, didn't pick up any Rye flavours though. Liked it.

Bottle, a gift from a mate. Aroma had sweet fruity and malts. A touch of butterscotch. Clear dark gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Initial sugary fruit sweetness followed by a citrus sour edged grainy bitterness streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick if on the thin side. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Pleasant without exerting the senses.

This beer is now simply called Piddle Slasher. I sampled its alias \"I love Tanks (and Beer) Limited Edition\" from the Tank Museum, but the two commercial descriptions are identical, so there is no doubt that this really is the Piddle Slasher. ABV is 5.1%. Purchased from the Tank Museum webshop. Gusher bottle, half the content went down the kitchen sink before I could reach the glass. Insanely overcarbonated, the glass fills completely by white foam, and the golden beer appears below only very slowly. Moderate aroma of malts, grassy, herbal and spicy hops, hints of stewed yellow plums. Light bodied. The flavour has earthy and peppery hops on a weak background of malts, moderate but distinct bitterness.

Bottle from Stewart’s Garden Centre, Christchurch. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a thin creamy white head. Aromas of biscuits and light tones of citrus, honey and floral. Taste is again biscuity, a little honey, subtle citrus lemon and an earthy and grassy hop finish. Thin to medium body with a smooth oily mouthfeel. Not bad.

500ml bottle (part of a gift set) - Clear yellow body, thin white head. Nose is soft citrus, a bit of grassiness. Taste is fairly refreshing, sweet citrus kick at the front, soft flowery bitterness on the way out. Very pleasant.
