Immer wenn ich von der Stadt Denver lese, fällt mir die betrunkene Bürgerwehr von Denver aus dem Western-Klassiker 40 Wagen westwärts ein - auch wenn es in dem Film eher um Whisky-Fässer geht. Nun ja, Fasslagerung hat auch dieses Getränk zu bieten. Das Sour kommt in einer hübsch gestalteten rosa Dose und ist ebenso hübsch rosa im Glas anzusehen. Wie angekündigt ist es nicht zu brutal sauer und hat wirklich gute Noten nach Himbeeren und Heidelbeeren und halt den klassischen Zitronenbasisgeschmack. Es ist durchaus erfrischend und ich kann es mir gut an einem heißen Sommerabend vorstellen -oder zum Après-Schi in den Rocky Mountains.

8-3-7-4-14 Can, #2019-40. Pours slightly hazy dark yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is lactic acid, tart notes of berries and sour candy, as well as some funky notes, plums and minerals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid, sour candy and fruity notes of white berries and raspberries, as well as some floral and citrusy notes.

Canned 355ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Rose coloured, small off-white head, sourish berries and yeast in the nose. Berries (mostly raspberries), slightly fruity, brett and rather dry tartish fruity finish. Refreshing.
