Cask at Borough Market. Pours a hazy, pale yellow. Sweet, syrupy aroma. No cloying, syrupy sweetness in the flavor, though, just light, sweet fruits and some tartness. Light bodied with basically no carbonation. Finishes tart, almost sour, with some sweetness. Crisp, a bit refreshing. Not like any perry I’ve had before.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival 07-05-10 This poured more golden than the silver colour which was the typical colour of the rest of the perries here, but t had a pretty decent clarity. Aroma was quite peary but not the big up front squishy juicy pears like the Gwatkin Blakeney Red. Taste was tangy, peary and not too sweet. Not my favourite of the perries but it had its charms. Gravity at Planet Thanet BF 08. Listed as New Forest Perry, but at the same strength, so I guess it is the same. Cloudy pale gold. Cheesey, cheddary aroma. Some pear fruit, quite acidic finish. Some pear juice. Reasonably good fruit. Really acidic cheesy finish.

Barrel at Wenlock Arms, London. A hazy light yellow perry with a strong aroma of perries. The flavor is very dry and alcoholic with strong notes of perries.
