Old Sparky is the nickname of the electric chairs in Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Old Sparky is a Triple IPA, bitter as confession and sweet as redemption. The most heavily hopped AF beer so far, it took 80 days to ferment and mature to over 10% ABV. As mesmerizing and as horrendous as its electrical godfather.

Light haze on this orange amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts but a heavy and old fashioned milky caramel sweetness. Mild pine and spice overlay marmalade and orange peel hops. Light crispy and mildly spicy finish. Very olde worlde, okay.

Bottle shared with Lucas. Pours amber with fine head. Aroma is very hoppy and somewhat fruity with grapefruit. Lots of pine. Big body. Flavour is very malt forward and sweet. Clean malt profile with some caramel. Very bitter. Very hoppy, with pine, grapefruit and exotic fruit. Dryish finish. Amazing triple IPA.

Bottle (from Koht). Street tick. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, fruity, citrus. Flavor follows the nose, but has also some booze showing. Overall: ok, a bit harsh and over the top.

Draught. Pours murky amber, little creamy head. Weak lacing. All the hop luxury on nose: Citrus, tropics, pine. Nectary malts somewhat hidden away. The taste is where they play the main part. Nectar, Melon, tropical fruit, orange, tangerine, pine, a little earth form the flavours composition. medium to high bitterness finishes all. Full-bodied. Soft carbonation. Generally a powerful DIPA with lacking drinkability
