Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy brownish amber, beige head. Aroma: Barley malt, caramel. Taste: Barley malt, bit sugary, candy sugar, caramel. Over moderate to medium sweet, very slightly sourish (Barley), light bitterness. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Drinkable but I'm not a Barley fan.

Bottle shared with Terje on board Baluba at Lauwersmeer 08.07.23 while sailing Staande Mastroute in the Netherlands. Brown. Diminishing beige head. Fine aroma of sweet medium dark malt and figs. Surprisingly good drinkability.

Murky brown with thin head. Loads of sweet malts. Almost a honey sweetness. Lasting sweet aftertaste.

330ml bottle [2018 vintage]. Cloudy, dark brown colour with small, creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Rather expressionless, sweet-ish, malty aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of dreid fruit, unspecific perfumed overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly yeasty spicy and minimally yeasty fruity, hints of caramel, brown sugar, a touch of raisin, some marmite. Watery texture, soft palate, soft carbonation, lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Homebrew-ish, half-baked - nope.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Dutch brewery #324. Slightly hazy dark amber with a very thin off-white head. Caramel aroma with raisins and figs. Sweet malty taste with a proper bitter finish. Alcohol is noticeable but not off-putting. Nice quadrupel.

Bottle. Brown color. Caramel and coughing sweets in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with coughing syrup and herbal notes. Sticky, slightly alcoholic.
