A stoutwine blended from maple syrup, tequila, and bourbon barrels, conditioned with Mexican and Madagascan vanilla.
Taste: Sweet toasted bourbon vanilla biscuits mixes with melted milk chocolate and hints of silky smooth marzipan. A rich toasted caramel malty body is complimented by subtle hints of pipe tobacco and agave, with yet more creamy vanilla on the aftertaste.

A black beer, a head is very small and beige. Aroma has liquorice, roastiness, barrel, bourbon, light dried fruits of raisin. Taste has dried fruits, toffee, sweetness, some barrel. Full bodied, slight stickyness. Too sweet.

Bottle from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is plum jam, vanilla, liquorice toffee. Taste is caramel, liquorice toffee, bourbon, plum jam, prunes, vanilla, red grape. Uber rich warming finish. Spot on.

Bouteille en importation privée. Merci à Phil. De généreux arômes de vanille, un caramel fondant, un alcool puissant composent l’essentiel de l’olfactif. La base chocolatée est également notable. Un tout petit filet de mousse éphémère se dépose sur un liquide noir et opaque. Chocolatée et caramélisée en bouche, elle offre une chaleur sèche venant du Tequila, de légères notes de sirop d’érable et un caractère subtilement épicé et vanillé. Complexe et sucrée à l’extrême cette bière n’a rien à voir avec une American Strong Ale mais plutôt tout à voir avec une Pastry Stout. O:6.77 V:3.58 G:9.24 C:4.0 G:16.0 T:39.59

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 27.01.2026, from Alko, 2023022) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was tiny and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup and alcohols. Palate was full bodied, dry and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, ash, wood, maple syrup, alcohols and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, wood, ash, vanilla and bitterness. A brew with too many competing strong flavours and scents.

Bottle. Pitch black body under a fine brown head. Strong and nice aroma of dark malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, dry fruit and pleasant alcohol. Taste is strong, but super smooth with dark malt, chocolate, dry fruit, vanilla, wood, a fine chili touch, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Distinct flavors, still in perfect balance, lot of everything without too much either. Even the strong alcohol feels balanced. Nice one.
