A deceptively strong beer with an intense hop-character highlighted by pronounced notes of citrus and pine. Well balanced bitterness leading to a dry finish generating an exceptionally quaffable Double IPA.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fruity hops with bubblegum, candied stone fruits, peach, grapefruit, citrus, tangerine peel, floral/perfumed notes, light pine. Flavour is fairly sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Nicely bittersweetish IIPA, peachy with some candied fruit and bubblegum. Pretty intensely hopped.

BB 03-19, but still tons of flavour. Big hoppy smell, fruity, resiny. Classic westcoast DIPA: thick, hoppy, bitter and resin, but also quite sweet. Lots of pine, plenty of citrus and a hint of tropical fruit / pineapple.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry and consumed at home Sunday 16th December 2018 whilst cooking a Lamb Shanks with red wine and balsamic vinegar. A hop monster from the off, hoppy burps, soft in the mouth, hazy gold with a white head. Sweet with some pine resin and some sweet orange. Excellent as ever from Dark Revolution. Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a sharpish minerally crispness. Sweetish malts. Good tangerine hops, lightly spicy and in nice balance with crisp pine. A little tangerine peel bitterness. Touch of tropical fruits on the crisp finish. Clean and crisp and quaffable.

Can @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly resinous. Flavor is malts, hops, a bit fruity, light resin, light pine, decently bitter. Easy drinkable for a DIPA I must say. Nice beer!

On tap at Thomas Tallis Canterbury. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Big strong pink grapefruit dipa flavour. touch of diacetyl on the aroma. it's not bad but just some rough edges too. quite a bitter finish. diacetyl dies down but it's still a little unwary with itself. ok pink grapefruit flavour. citrus zest tangerine and lime
