Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, booze, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of booze, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from Euro swap shared at tasting. Hazy dusty reddish color, white to off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with toffee. Taste malts, liquor, quite bitter, but also some underlying sweet notes, heavy barrel aging or at least heavy influence from the barrel. Mwah. 6-3-6-3-10

Bottle. Amber color. Plums, dried fruit in the aroma. Sharp alcoholic flavor, probably the mezcal. Sweet, boozy with some plums.

Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, a little cream and some light and not particularly sweet caramel. Touch of spice. Tired dried fruits. Mezcal barrel? Say what? Where? This is super simplistic and immature barleywine and if it's been anywhere near a Mezcal barrel, well - it was a brief encounter at best.

Tap @ Cerveteca Lisboa, Lisbon. Pours a nice glowing orangey amber, small off-white topping. Rich over-ripe fruity nose. Smooth on the palate, nice rich fruity character with a fair sweetness, alcohol nicely hidden, not too harsh. Decent.
