0.5l, thx F&L! Almost clear coppery body, off-white thick head. Caramelly, bit woody malty aroma. Soft, smooth, slick, pleasant body, just some caramel, low nutty touches. Simple, extremely simple, but very, very drinkable!

Bottle picked up directly from the brewery and consumed at home Thursday 21st September 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq Round Table on 6Music about to cook a Thai Curry when Loz has finished her workshop. It's been a very busy day today, sorting out CD's and a humongous amount of wood that was delivered, feel shattered. The beer pours a light chestnut colour, excellent clarity, good fruity and caramel combination, nice balance to this, good carbonation, nice, really nice.

Kommt von einer winzigen Brauerei aus einem der finstersten Teilen des Bayerischen Waldes. Nicht einfach zu bekommen, da das Verbreitungsgebiet nur sehr lokal ist. Mit 4,8 % Alk. eines der leichtesten dunklen Bier die ich je hatte. Eher mild malzaromatisch. Dafür etwas mehr Hopfen, Getreide und florale Noten. Leichte Kaffeenuancen im Schlussteil. Einen Hauch zu viel Kohlensäure, weicher würden die positiven Eigenschaften besser hervortreten. Kein typisches Dunkles, daher auch nahezu uneingeschränkt für Freunde von Hellem / Märzen geeignet.

Bottle from Beerhunter111, thanks! Dark brown color. Malty, bready, caramelly aroma. Malty sweet flavor, bready, caramelly, hint of butter. Rural, a bit unclean, but not unpleasant.

50cl bottle from the brewery. A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of caramelish malt, nuts, mild spicy hops. Taste of caramelish malt, bread, toffee, mild spicy hops. Good!

Bottled 500ml. - not sure but probably from Brandy’s Braugarage, Wallersdorf. Dark amber/pale brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, grain, caramel and touch of fruits with dry dusty sweet finish. Rather ordinary.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, bread - sour bread, keller, roasted notes, tart nutty - earthy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity - berry !! nutty dusty, sour bread. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Ulfborg, Early Winter Tasting, 2011. Pours amber copper with a small off white head. Tart fruit, caramel and grain. A bit thin. Short end. Watery.

Bottle. It pours a dark amber body, clear, and with a small, off-white head. There’s some milky sourness on the palate, with dried fruits and some caramel. The flavor is pretty much the same, way too milky for my likings, but it’s quite drinkable anyway. Medium body, dry and quite pleasantly carbonated. Well, might be good completely fresh, it’s not so good now. 111105
