This hazy New England-style IPA combines two titans of the modern US hop scene – Strata and Talus. These new season hops promote bold aromas of ripe stone fruit, juicy tangerine and lemon rind with a real dankness in the finish. The addition of oats balances the profile, creating a beer that is soft, rounded, full-bodied and juicy.

440ml can from M&S in Kew Retail Park, Richmond, UK. Head medium, white, good retention. Colour is blonde, hazy. Aroma is tangerine, lemon, pineapple. Taste is medium malty base, tangerines, lemon, yellow berries, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, very refreshing, enjoyed for sure.

Can from M&S. It pours lightly hazy golden - blonde with a a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, juicy, fruity, melon, green banana, pineapple, strawberry mousse and a splash of lemonade. The taste is crispy, dryish, quite sweet actually, sugary, rather fruity, strawberry mousse, fruit smoothie, melon, apricot, lemon parfait, sponge cake, biscuit and a nip of alcohol with a dryish finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. This is too sweet for the style imo. Some nice hop character, but sits a bit heavy.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from M&S HC. Pours hazed orange-gold with a small, foamy white head. Medium sweet with a little flinty minerality, semi-ripe tangerine, pale bread, faint vinyl, low bitterness. Medium bodied with small, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more mellow citrus fruits, touch of strawberry, melon, peach. Not bad.

Can at home from BBNo online. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is nice juicy citrus, orange rind, woody notes, white grape, melon, tangerine, soft bready wheat grains. Good. Flavour is composed of soft wheaty grains, melon, nelson sauvin vibes, tarmac, woody citrus, firm bitterness. Palate is pillowy airy carbonation, crisp, slightly chalky finish. Tasty stuff.

Can sourced from Mikkeller Webshop and shaed at home (22/11/2020) - hazy golden yellow pour with a white head. Interesting combo with these two hops, talus with nice stone fruit and citrus, piney and floral and wood accents, strata with that tropical fruity and green grassy herbal edge, nice malty and oat laden backing, balanced bitterness into the hoppy finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of 05|India Pale Ale Strata & Talus on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:01 - Score: 7.
