Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malt with fruity notes, caramel, touch of chocolate, nuts, ripe prunes. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. A bit curious with the fruity notes, ripe prunes, the malts are pleasant.

Appearance: Dark brown, a bit of haze. Some light tan head. Aroma: Toasted, dark malt. Brown sugar and some caramel. Taste: Dark malt, toasted. Brown sugar sweetness, light caramel. Smooth. Bought: amstein.ch, 330 ml, CHF 2.96 Info: 4/12-2021, BB: 8/10-2022

Aus der Flasche (bottled 08.10.2020 - bbe 08.10.2022) im 2020-12 getrunken. Dieses Ale kommt mit einer gute Balance zwischen Hopfen- und Malzeinfluss daher. Hier wurde der Bierstil wieder sehr gut getroffen. Schönes Ale zum Essen!

Bottle. Pours red copper with a lot of particles. Aroma is caramel, prunes and figs. Molasses and brown sugar. Medium body. Flavour is chocolatey and malty, sweet, nutty, some coffee. Really nice brown ale.

reddish mahogany colour, huge, dense and quite stable beige-ish ecru head; aroma of toasted rye bread, prune or rather plum jam, some toffee and apple notes; taste has similar notes as can be felt in the arom without apple notes and with some mild roasted nuts (mainly sunflower seeds); not bad at all

Bottled 20-08-18. Reddish brown, quite clear, with plenty of super dense, creamy foam. Smells malty. Taste is pretty heavy bitter, tiny bit herbal, and some malty sweetness. Only the bitterness lingers, all other flavours disappear rapidly, pity.

Flesje gekregen van Niels en gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Koperkleurig troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma en smaak van pruimen, rozijnen en zwarte kersen.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven. Het is een troebel koperkleurig bier met weinig schuim wat snel weg ebt. Het heeft de geur van pruimen en caramel. De smaak is moutig, kruidig en zacht zoet met tonen van pruimen en rozijnen.
