[June 2022] Clear and golden with a frothy/creamy white head and a slightly peppery aroma. The pepperiness magnifies in the flavour with light biscuit malt and dry, fruity bitterness

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford - at 3.9%. Pours a golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Aroma has floral hops mixed in with grapes. In the mouth it is sweet with tropical fruits to the fore. There’s lychee, pineapple, grapefruit and hints of lemongrass and general citrus. Finish is dry and fruity. Light and refreshing – not bad at all.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark gold and clear with a foamy white head. Very light hoppy aroma, some grape and a little citrus peel. Sweet taste with a lively white grape note. Light antiseptic notes in the slightly drying finish. Not all that great.

Keg @ Mallinsons Corner, Huddersfield. Crisp, hoppy, light golden ale. It's sweet-hoppy in both aroma and taste.

Light haze on this gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Thin malts which don't impart much sweetness. Bitter floralness. Mild Mallinsons soap. Modest Jester hoppy fruits, touch of citrus and very light orchard fruits. Light crisp finish bring more floral bitterness and a touch of bitter lemon. Hmmm, the last 3.5 beer I had from this brewery was nearly a year ago.

Bottled 500ml (BGonzo)
Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Light tropical fruits, lime in the nose. Light-bodied. Pale malty, hints of grain, like they said grapefruit (or lime) and lychee (or tropical fruits) are there. Easy with zesty finish. When warms up, lime dominates.
