Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine. Pours clear gold with big bubbly white head, amazing retention for a cider helped by roaring carbonation through the middle. Aroma of fruity mellow apple juice, floral blossom, light funk. Taste of tangy apple juice, cores, floral notes, fairly sweet but quite dry through the finish with some bitterness, high brut like carbonation. A different take on a session strength cider. Very enjoyable.

Keg draught at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Mid-gold and a little bit hazy with a ring of white head. Dry, plasticky aroma with green apple skin sourness. Tastes much better, some sweet apple to the fore but a delicious dryness later on. Medicinal aftertaste with some pear drop mixed in. Pretty heavy carbonation. A bit odd but certainly decent.

500ml bottle from Cider House, Borough Market. Sparkling, golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of juicy apple, pulpy, mucky hint. Taste is apple, juicy, fruity, with farmhouse funky notes, some tart acidity and light tannin. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying fruity funky finish. Quite drinkable

500ml bottle from Beer District, Buxton. Pours clear gold. Lovely fresh fruity character. Really nice floral sweet fleshy fruit with some lemony hints. Gently tangy, light acidity, low tannin. Interesting and different.
