Clear red, no head. Aroma of ripe red grape, port wine, cherry, dark honey, jam. Taste has sweet cherry, grape & jam; honeyish, biscuity. Bit tart finish with more sweet cherry and warming port wine alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Enjoyable sipper.

Clear dark purple bordeau mead, no head. Aroma: alcohol, a bit spicy, very fruity, cherry, floral, bit soapy, some diacetyl, butter. MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: a bit sweet, very fruity, lots of cherries, little sugary, bitter touch. Aftertaste: very fruity, lots of cherries, bit oxidized, sugary, lovely stuff. Not much diacetyl in the flavour, luckily!
