At SBWF 2019. Hazy golden with a white head. Mild with bread, grain and some hints of fruit. Also some caramel in the finish. Drinkable but not that exciting.

Bottle from Edeka, Rothenburg. BB: unknown but definitely past its prime. Hazy golden with a lasting, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma has lots of yeast, old apple, bread, cellar & dust, oxidized maybe. Taste is light malty sweet, grainy, old bread with faint fruity yeast, some bitter grass & straw. Dryish, grainy, yeasty finish, dusty feeling. Light to medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. I can imagine it's decent enough when fresh, but not much more.

Can. Minimally cloudy dark orange with a massive white head. Mild aroma of malts, caramel, yeast and German hops. Taste follows aroma. Low bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Süffig but pretty bland as expected.

On tap at Jaegerstube in Bacharach, Germany. Honey gold pour. Fluffy white head. Sweet malty nose is typical of the style. Taste is slightly sweet malt and herbal with notes of grain, hay, bread and some grassiness. The finish and aftertaste are bitter and dry. Rated on 8/12/19.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Malty bready floral aroma and flavor with hints of caramel, apple and metal. Medium bodied. Decent.

500ml bottle. Milky, orangey amber colour with average, thick, firm, stable, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather expressionless, sweet-ish and minimally sugary, malty aroma with a minimally biscuity and bready touch, fruity, ephemerous lingonberry and more sustainable mandarine overtones. Taste is sweet-ish fruity, diluted hints of lingonberry, a very cautious touch of mandarine and orange, almost neutral malty basis, watery passages; slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate. Monotonous, simple and anaemic, without edges or any sign of character to such an extent you could hardly descry a style category if the label didn't come forward with a proposal.

Not a bad beer, typical for the style, a bit of a hazy bitterness bite i find, but otherwise, bronze malty beer. Konsum Dresden
