Our iconic signature Imperial Stout is taken to the next level with this indulgent version. With a decadent combination of Dominican cacao nibs, cocoa powder, Madagascar vanilla beans, and artfully roasted coffee from our friends at Ryan Bros., this beer is the ultimate double fudge treat.

Very dark colour with a thick head. Lots of coffee and chocolate on the nose. On the palate, lots of chocolate, abundant coffee, some vanilla for accent. Roast and hops provide quite a bit of bitterness, and this balances a fairly rich sweetness. Another quality Speedway. Looking forward to my return to Alesmith in a couple of months, that's for sure.

1 pint can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of chocolate, black coffee, dry vanilla, licorice and roasted malts. Flavors of rich chocolate, licorice, black coffee, and roasted malts. Dusty dry. A bit thinner than expected; likely the ABV and coffee.

Can shared at the Oldmeldrum Games. It pours jet black with a thick, dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, umami, liquorice, vanilla fudge, big coffee, coffee cream, chocolate brownies, cookies, sweet and moreish. The aroma is slick, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, bitter, big hit of espresso coffee, charred action, dark chocolate coffee beans, vanilla fudge, cacao nibs, peppery spice, tannin, umami and some pleasing boozey heat with a toasted bitter coffee chocolate finish. Fulsome and moderate carbonation. Rounded and flavourful. Double fudge sounds sweet, this wasn't too much.

From a 473ml can on 11/6/2022. Pours near black with a smallish head. The nose is coffee dominated. With a bit
of chocolate and light roasted notes. Big coffee flavour on the sip, with lots of milk and dark chocolate. Has a firm roasty finish, with hints of nuts and soy. Full bodied with average carbonation. Excellent version of the iconic Speedway.

Can from IrishBoy. Pours dark brn/blk with a large creamy tan head. Aroma is primarily coffee with some chocolate. Full bodied. Not dry, not sticky. Coffee bitter. Chocolate and vanilla as well. Actually a fair amount of chocolate. Goes a bit earthy toward the finish. Good flavor.
