Made using two of Germany's noble hop, Hallertauer Mittelfrueh, considered the King of German hops varieties and considered one of the worlds finest aroma hops and Hersbrucker offering a fruity and floral character. Together they produce a classic, clean flavour that makes pilsner the worlds most popular beer style.

The lager is fermented at low temperature for three weeks to develop the classic smooth, clean and crisp flavours, with the subtle hop character associated with the best German pilsners.

440ml can. Gluten Free. Clear pale golden colour, big foamy white head and aroma of grains, yeasty, grass. Taste is sweetish, malt, grains, with straw, hay and grassy bitterness. Light bodied, high foamy carbonation, grassy bitter finish. Quite OK

Can, from an offy in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Opened with a bit of a whoosh. Lively pour sits clear pale gold, with a big white foam. Nose has some sugary grain. Light leafy hop. Taste has some sweetness and a light grassy bitterness. Light to medium body with high-ish carbonation. Short and light bitter finish. Not much happening here really.

On tap at Hope and Anchor Bristol. Clear gold colour thin white head smells like a lager with the lager puke not a good lager. it settles down a little. but it's not good. reminds me why stuff like Augustiner Helles is world beating. eek.
