Lager, the world’s most popular beer. From Helles to Dopplebock, it’s a nuanced style with plenty of regional varieties under its belt, ranging in ABV, bitterness and hoppiness. Lagers can be light and sessionable, or amped up and deep in character. It’s the latter that’s influenced our April High Octane release, 90 Day Bock.

Lagered (which is basically leaving the beer to mature in flavour) for a full three months and supported by a powerhouse malt bill with bold toasted aromas and mature cereal notes, it takes a trio of American hops on board, balancing hints of stone-fruit and herbal notes with a mild bitterness.

Аромат честно странный для стиля, сладкий но не в карамель а скорее в яблоко или грушу как при сильном лагере, кстати цвет тоже лагерный, чуть темнее золотого, пена средняя. Вкус тоже странный, не сказать что невкусный, но дико мимо стиля. Никакой карамели или хлеба, много солода при этом с грушей, сладость дрожжевая, возможно пшеница, лишь с намеками с белым хлебом. Послевкусие такое же, дрожжевое и грушевое. Пить можно но настолько далеко от стиля, насколько можно.

Poured from the tap. Lightly hazed gold with small white head. Mild caramel malt, clean, decent.

Deep gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is bready with undertones of caramel, oak, fermenting apples. Bittersweet to bitter. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Alcohol remains hidden. Decent bock.

Can.Hazy yellow colour with small head.Aroma is sweet and malty with hint of honey and caramel,medium body and light spicy finish.

Keg @ Brewdog Outpost Manchester before Life of Agony. Clear copper appearance, off-white head. Lacking the depth of flavour I expected.. it's nice, some mild caramelised malt, but flavours are quite mild.

1/2 @ BrewDog Bristol. Dark golden pour with a wispy off-white head. Malty aroma, sweet notes. Taste is sweet malts, peppery notes. Velvety feel with a mild spicy finish..
