A draught beer sampled in Rötz.
A clear solid yellow color. Small lingering white lace.
A neutral taste but no faults.
Low bitterness.

0.5l bottle at F&L's, huge thanks! Crystal clear golden body, off-white thick head. Maybe vaguely buttery, bit dusty, otherwise cleanly malty aroma. Bit spicy, mildly dusty notes over a clean, soft, mild maltiness. Quite pleasant, drinkable! Very nice example of its kind, better than the sum of its parts!

Bottle picked up from Bilgo Getränke, Fürth im Wald and consumed at home Wednesday 21st August 2024 listening to Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems and about to heat up a homemade Chilli con Carne from out of the freezer. Pours light/mid gold, excellent clarity with a mid sized white head. Nice mouthfeel, excellent carbonation. This is a lovely Helles, a wonderful balance of sweet maltiness and a little building bite of bitterness, nice hoppiness, a little grainy, really lovely beer.

Bottle from Erzengel - Cheers. 🍻🍻. Tight white head left a creamy cover on pale amber coloured body. Malt, grain & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, light carbonation & cloying on the back. Malt, cereal, biscuit & sweet fruit tastes with a nicely hopped tangy finish. Good one.

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Soft grassy, heavy barnyard aroma. Malty sweetish, almost full bodied. Grassy and buttery. Hint of diacetyl. Manure. Quite interesting, very rural beer. Thanks to Beerhunter111 for sending me this beer.

"Genossenschaftsbrauerei Rötz Vollbier hell", Bügelverschlußflasche (MHD: 12/18) von Edeka Buchbauer, Chamerau. - Tief goldgelb, blank; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase breites helles Malz, schwach säuerlich, ranzige Butter, schwache Kräuter. - Antrunk plump hellmalzig, etwas ruppig getreidig, mit derber, aromenarmer Hopfenherbe. Wenig rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang matte, leere, schwach holzige Bittere. Strenger, leicht ranziger Nachgeschmack. - Stümperhaft gemachtes Bier mit derben Fehlaromen (Diacetyl?).

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! Great old-fasioned swing-top bottle. The beer starts nice grainy smooth. Very soft, easy to drink with a nice smooth malty grainy back. Decent, old-fashioned and great sessionable. Fantastic!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden to deep golden coloured with a smaller slowly collapsing white foamy layer; moderate rural-grainy nose with a delicate hayish-hoppy background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; "rural" finish with a dash of citrussy and "woody2 hops. Well balanced thirst-quencher......
