A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness and sweetness of dried fruits, perry, apricot, hint of spicyeness. Taste has fruitness, perry, some banana, not so clear as aroma, also light dried frutiness. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Easy and good.

10/IX/22 - 33cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (Gent), BB: 5/V/23, 33109:20 9? (2022-1137) “Thanks” to 77ships+1 for sharing the bottle! :p
Clear blond yellow beer, big very irregular white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: all ripe to overripe banana, bubble gum, very dirty malts, grains, bubble gum, super bad, really off-putting... MF: ok carbon medium body. Taste: sweet start, all bubble gum, grains, hay, corn, bad. Aftertaste: sugary, sweet, unpleasant bitterness, bad, don’t like it, malty, sugary, meh.

33cl bottle at Belgian Beergeeks/Brewver summer tasting at Tim's house. Thanks Siegfried. BB 05/05/2023.

Very good, dense, light-yellow head, fed by lively, fine carbonation in orangey golden beer. Rings of lace. Sweet malty nose, suggesting cloying sweetness. Fresh malt, greenmalt, green spices, but after short warming up, a lot of bananaester, candi syrup. Again a jumble of malts, fresh, but also toasted and even oxydation (the pasteurisation effect?). Hops: not found. Taste gets flat in the end, reminding of corn flakes drowned in skimmed milk. Some alcohol in effect, warming included. Despite the wet cornflakes, on the edge of cloying. Flat, almost overcarbonated, bit sticky, medium bodied. The inbevisation of Bosteels proceeds. What might be the purpose of a blond version of the ubiquitous Kwak? Oh, and a Flemish blond beer is of course a 'blonde' in Inbelvia. Ugh.
