Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Subtle aroma of flowery hops. Medium body, clean, dry malts an a surprisingly hoppy finish. Solid craftsmanship. 091021

0,5 l bottle and again a retro art from the Tucher sub labels. Clear golden in the glass with a more than two finger head. Can´t expect more for a Helles. Grainy caramell smell with some sweetness. Taste is low grainy with caramell, low bitterness, hints of apple fruity in the background. As expected an easy drinkin´n refreshing beer, nothin´ wrong, Bavarian standard.

€-Fläschla: Golden, clear, lively carbonation, medium-sized creamy and lacy white head, mild citric and grainy nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied, both soft and fizzy, mildly lingering bitter-sweet citric and malty finish. Pretty good by german macro standards, at least drinkable by franconian standards...

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'Dursty', best before December 2018. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, a touch of honey and traces of straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, a bit malty, a little grassy-spicy taste of grains, some honey and hints of straw, followed by a short, slightly grassy-spicy and minimally metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay Export.

“Geismann Bier Edel Export“, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase sehr mildes, leicht künstlich fruchtiges helles Malz. - Antrunk matt hellmalzig mit leicht orangenfruchtiger, zart säuerlicher Note. Runde aber ausdruckslose Malzigkeit, erfreulich knappe Süße. Milder rezent, glatt, vollmundig. Im Abgang äußerst dezente Hopfenherbe, gerade ausreichend um keinen faden Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Unschön muffiger Nachtrunk, bei dem der Hopfenextrakt herausschmeckt. - Arg blasses, charakterschwaches und aromatisch defizitäres Export; gerade noch trinkbar. Aber das altmodische Etikett gefällt mir!

500ml bottle: BBE Feb 2019. Drank in Quedlinburg on 8th Aug 2018. Clear, clean and bright golden pour, white crown that soon fell away. Very little aroma, some light malty notes maybe. The taste also has a slight malty lead flavour wise and is semi-sweet in nature throughout.
