Imperial Stout envejecida en barricas de sirope de arce de 225 litros originarias de Vermont que hemos usado por primera vez. Una cerveza compleja, suntuosa e intensa que resulta sorprendente.
Las barricas de sirope de arce añejo recién vaciadas aportan a la cerveza un marcado carácter a madera junto a aromas a miel y uvas pasas que se entremezclan con los aportados por las maltas, chocolate y frutos secos, resultando en una cerveza equilibrada y a la vez compleja y llena de matices.

KYGGE 220423. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is alcohol, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, maple syrup, wood, vanilla. Nice beer.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Practically black body under a thin beige head. Relatively mild in aroma, dark malt, dark chocolate, maple syrup and warming alcohol. Taste is super smooth, dark roasted malt, mild chocolate, smooth maple syrup and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting nice aftertaste. A really pleasant one.

Bottle. Close to black in the glass, with a small, beige head. The aroma is surprisingly gentle, with some alcohol. Roasted malts, brown sugar, dark chocolate and wood. It's full-bodied and warming, quite sweet, yet dryish, with a good bitterness. Maple syrup, brown sugar, roasted malts, dark chocolate and a woody hint. Vanilla, more alcohol and coffee notes. Lasting finish. Delicious. 230422

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, maple, vanilla, oak and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, chocolate, maple, oak and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tiene color negro intenso y espuma marronácea con duracción corta. Aroma intenso a chocolate negro, torrefacto, frutos secos tostados y uvas pasas. Sabor con notas dulzonas, sin llegar a ser empalagosas, maltas tostadas, chocolate, melaza, frutos negros maduros y uvas pasas. Final licoroso, untuoso, sedoso y calido. Una cerveza muy redonda y compleja que invita a dar un trago largo; pero cuidado con sus 14%.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai. Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van zwarte koffie, caramel en rook. Smaak is zoet en rokerig, ook caramel, zoethout, salmiak komen naar voren. De zoethout en salmiak blijven achter in de smaak. Dit is een geweldig bier.

Bottle at home shared with Inoven. Opaque black color, medium to full sized quite quickly diminishing tan head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, roasty a bit, coffee, maple sweetness lightly. Flavor is malts, some roast, coffee, brown malts more heavily, lingering brown and roasty malt bitterness, boozy a bit as in warming alcohol that lingers too, heavy maple, some wood. Boy oh boy this is an explosion of flavors. Delicious! Definitely worth it!

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is fairly full, mild maple, roast. Sharp, coffee. Tad boozy. Taste is full, maple, coffee. Roasted, chocolate. Nice dry roastyness. Only medium sweet. Nice enough !
