Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Birmingham. Poured a murky golden orange colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt and floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, floral, light medicinal, herbal, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Poor. Not much going for it. Struggled to drink half a pint.

Can shared at Craft Metropolis, Penge, London (23/04/2022) - hazed up golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma is distinct Verdant on opening, taste follows with lots of tender juicy satsuma segments, nectarine and peach, cantaloupe, pomelo, gooseberry, fluffy soft malted support, robust hoppy finish. Gorgeous.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 29/04/22. Murky orange with a good sized off white cap that thins to edgework. Nose is pine resin, weed, would have said pissy Nelson tones although not listed, stoned fruits, danko nostril tickle, hint of diesel, papaya. Taste comprises bitter orange, pine needle, grass, stoned fruits, lychee, pissy citric shreds, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive danko stained resinous hop bitterness. Solid bitter leaning pale ... would have said Nelson every time on a blind taste!
