A new experiment to make it a fruity spring! This deep red sour was co-fermented with Philly sour & Belle Saison. Dominating the color & taste is the aronia or chokeberry, backed up by lychee. Balanced between a lactic sourness & fruity sweetness.

Tap. Deep purple color with pink head. Aroma is aronia, a lot of it, just a dash of lychee, but not too intense. Taste is aronia, not too tannic, philly sour character, a dash of lychee again. I like these simple Philly Sour beers.

25/V/22 - 33cl can, shared @ home, BB: 28/IV/23 16:31 (2022-602)
Clear deep ruby red beer, small irregular pinkish head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: raspberry and cherry jam, quite some diacetyl, elderberries. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of cherry jam, diacetyl, pretty buttery, nice acidity, yoghurt, cassis jam, pretty bitter, dry. Aftertaste: tannins, black currants, pretty earthy and dry, not getting any of the promised lychees in this beer?
