We have created a new experimental IPA with a Norwegian yeast. This yeast is commonly referred to as "gong". It is extremely unique in that we can ferment at 98 degrees & still get a nice clean beer, albeit loaded with pineapple & mango aromas. We decided what better way to compliment this than to add over 3 lbs per barrel of Citra dry hops. This is bright, tropical, & pillow soft.

16 oz can from Total Wine, Short Pump, 11/6/24. Tropical juice. Mango, pineapple, papaya , and some apricot. Leans sweet, but with some balancing bitterness. Good feel, lightly dry on the close. Banger. 9/4/8/4/17

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is danky, hoppy, citrus, fruity. Taste is hops bitter, lively, sticky.

Tap at the brewery in Norfolk Virginia. A hazed bright greenish yellow coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is sweaty green mango, hoppy, waxy, grassy, green dank. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, waxy citrus, grass, waxy, dank, green mango, onion. Palate is semi sweet, loose wheat, creamy, moderate carbonation. Good dank ipa.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 13/05/2022 [#4.918 Global - #661 United States of America - #3 Benchtop Brewing Co.] Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Good retention, mostly lacing. Aroma: Yeast, medicinal and pineapple. Taste: dank and yeasty. Mild hop burning. Smooth floral palate and medium bodied. Next one please!
