“I’m so glad I’ve found this…”

We’ve experimented with a new hop developed with lager in mind, it allows the bright and crisp malt to shine through while contributing some fresh citrus, melon and wildflower.

Hops: Lorien

440ml can, new artwork on this 2025 version but same style, ABV and hop used. Clear golden with minimal white head. Aroma of bready and biscuity malts, floral/herbal hop. Taste of slightly sweet malts, both biscuity and bready, Lorien hops adding some lemony citrus, and light herbal/floral notes, light bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Great lager. Ideal summer's day drinking.

Happy 97th Birthday Mum, hope you are resting in peace. Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light malts with a modest sweetness, about right for this brew. Trace of cloves coming in from somewhere. Only the 2nd time I have come across Lorien hops but here they are consistent with the Table Beer that Deya put out recently. Soft pine, soft mellow lime, trace of ripe lemon. Light finish. Nice lager and Lorien suits the style very well.

Can from Overtone. It pours hazy yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lovely floral vibes, summer meadow, daisies, twist of lemon, melon, touch herbal, verbena and a some floury bread. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, snappy, lovely floral vibes, summer meadow, daisies, elderflower, honeysuckle, cracker, nice fresh sweetness, hint of lemon, grass, herbal accents, melon and splash of hays lemonade with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Lovely stuff. Nice hop character. Fresh, bright and crazy flavourful.
