Want Some More Blueberry Pie is our 2nd Pastry stout in the Want Some more range.
We added some natural blueberry aroma, sweet vanilla beans from Madagaskar and lactose. Result is a very fruity Imperial stout with a creamy body and a sweet bittering aftertaste.

Pours black, small to medium, tanned head fades fast. Taste is sweet, chocolate and very clear on the blueberry. Taste is full, sweet base. Mild fruity acidity. Sharp edge to it. Gingerbread in the back as well. Medium thick, medium low carbo.

Can from Beers@Moviefun. Cloudy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of actual (Belgian) pralines, fruit liqueur, blueberry jam, biscuit, ripe blue plum, raisin, vanilla. Taste has sweet plum & blueberry in a malt body of liqueur-filled chocolate, jam and a dash of vanilla. Herbal hoppy finish, lingering blueberry juice & jam (sweet, not sour), chocolate and also some coffee roast, dash of warming fruit liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation. This type of beer always leans towards artificiality but Galea has managed to keep this one lean and balanced. Good!
