Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 20/05/2025.
Light shade of black topped with a tan cap that dissipates to a spiders web swirl.
Nose is chocolate, earthy roast, herb, umami notes.
Taste comprises dark malts, dried fruit rinds, miso tang, toffee, cocoa powder.
Medium bodied, with bite fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost.
It's fine but a bit boring.

Near clear dark brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin feeling dark malts but smooth, a little dark chocolate and a mild savoury aspect. Yes, some caramel if you are looking for it, dark caramel and not overly sweet. Good ripe fruits on the back end, dark ripe orange, some fig. Quite a light finish. Not as unusual as I thought it might be but a good brew nonetheless.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Marko. It remains a mistery how can something be extremely cloying and this watery thin at the same time, in a way it's a surprise they managed to pull it off really

Black with thin soapy dark cream head. Aroma has toasted brioche and caramelised nuts. Flavour is sweet but with a toasted barley nutty, earthy bitterness. Finish is butterscotch and salted caramel. For a pastry stout it feels fairly natural.
